Story Time.

Once upon a time there was a girl. This girl fell in love. She stayed that way for a little over a year. But that boy she was in love with changed...and their love was destroyed. But he didn't notice. He never noticed anything. He didn't notice how that girl started looking at his best friend, and couldn't take her eyes off him. He didn't notice the looks they passed back and forth. He didn't notice how she always wanted to hang out with his best friend, not just him. He never noticed how he made her laugh a little harder, and smile a little longer. He never noticed that she was only happy when she was with his best friend. Finally, two months after their two year that girl finally broke up with that unobservant boy. They were both heartbroken, to say the least. But deep down the girl knew that they weren't meant to be, and that their love fell apart for a reason. Although she still cried for him, it didn't take her long to realize that she was over that boy before the relationship was.
About a week after this horrific break-up, that girl decided to tell that boys best friend her feelings for him. Turns out, he had the same feelings and he had for a while. They did their best to hide this simple fact of life, but their secret was soon exposed. Some knew before they did, some could tell just by looking at that girl. When the secret was exposed, that first boy was devasted as expected. Not only did he lose the girl he loved, but he felt betrayed by his best friend. His usual quietness became silence. His moodiness increased intensely. That girl knew that she couldn't help her feelings, but she felt terrible. All her friends couldn't look her in the eye, and they treated that best friend as an outcast. It was understandable, for a while. But then another week went by. Soon, that first boy was doing everything in his power to keep "his" girl away from his best friend. Although he tried his damnedest, his attempt was failing. He soon took to trying to make the girl feel even worse about her decision to leave him. Although his words cut her deeply, the girl knew that she no longer felt the same way she once had for this boy. She had more intense feelings now...

It was the day before Valentines Day. Everyone around her was carrying teddy bears and red flowers. All the pretty girls, and even some not so pretty girls had a smile on their face. She smiled for them. It was third hour, and her teacher gave each student in the class a box of candy hearts. She opened the box and ate her favorite colors. Soon, she ran into a purple one that said "love you." She smiled and immediatley thought of "best friend". She wrapped her hand around the candy and awaited the bell. She walked slowly to the cafeteria, where everyone met before leaving to go to lunch. She saw him standing there, with their friend and his brother. She gave the box of candy to the friend, and slid the purple heart into "best friends" hand. She occupied herself by telling the brother he could have as many as he wanted. Suddenly she felt two arms wrap tightly around her. She turned in the embrace and looked "best friend"in the eye. He leaned down and put his mouth near her ear. She felt him start to shake and she hugged him in return. "I love you, too." he whispered. She tighted her grip around him. "He's right behind you." he informed her, still whispering gently in her ear.
"I don't care." she whispered back.

Today; This story actually coming true.
